A wonderful, family-friendly holiday home in Lild Strand with excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing, hiking, cycling and exploring nature. A true gem for dog lovers!

Welcome inside

This bright, welcoming and very at­tra­cti­ve holiday home is well main­tai­ned and modernly furnished, with a large and central living area where the whole family can gather for cooking, meals, cosy moments, games and re­laxa­tion. During the colder months, it is espe­ci­al­ly pleasant to light the wood-burning stove and enjoy the open views of nature just outside.

The house is well equipped and also includes a practical, lockable shed where you can safely store bicycles or a pram. In addition, the house offers two bathrooms with showers, one of which also features a bathtub – perfect for unwinding after a long and enjoyable day outdoors.

Enjoy life outside

The holiday home is located in a peaceful and quiet area, with unin­ter­rup­ted views of natural sur­ro­un­dings and forest across the large plot. It is not uncommon to spot wildlife such as foxes, hares, fallow deer, red deer and roe deer – often quite close to the house.

The plot features a lawn with plenty of space for play and acti­vi­ties. The lower part of the 12,000 m² natural plot has been de­sig­na­ted as a “wild” area, where paths allow you to ex­pe­ri­en­ce nature and wildlife up close. From the property, you also have direct access to the sur­ro­un­ding plan­ta­tions, making it easy to enjoy outdoor life right on your doorstep.

If you are bringing your dog on holiday, there is a dog forest in Lild Strand, and several others can be found nearby, including in Kollerup, Thorup Strand and Østerild.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The North Sea and the beach are just 4 km from the holiday home. We highly recommend packing the car with blankets, towels, food and sunscreen for a day by the vast and fa­sci­nat­ing sea. For a panoramic view of Jam­mer­bug­ten, head to the top of Bulbjerg Knude, which is within cycling distance.

If you enjoy fishing, you can bring your rod to both the North Sea and the Limfjord, and at Vejlerne you can spend hours observing the rich birdlife – just remember to bring your bi­no­cu­lars. A short drive to the west takes you to Hanstholm, where you can explore a well-preserved bunker complex from World War II, or visit the stunning and protected Na­tio­nal­park Thy.

The area around Lild Strand and Thorup Strand is de­sig­na­ted as a Dark Sky Park, and from the house and grounds you can fully enjoy the night sky, the tranquil­li­ty and the darkness – ac­com­pa­nied only by the sound of the sea.

Remember that you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can collect them from your nearest Fe­ri­e­part­ner office and return them once your holiday is over.
