This cosy and tra­di­tio­nal holiday home is perfect for a small family or for couples wishing to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday sur­ro­un­ded by the stunning nature of Lild Strand. The house has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds – as well as a small alcove with a box mattress by the living room. The alcove can be closed off with a curtain, making it easy to use the space as a children’s playroom or lounge area instead. Here, they can enjoy them­sel­ves while still being part of the life in the holiday home. The kitchen is open to the living room, creating a pleasant and sociable space. A new wood-burning stove in the living room makes it easy to create a cosy at­mosp­he­re while you enjoy the view of the dunes.

Enjoy life outside

There is also the option to move part of the cooking outdoors, as a large barbecue is available. The house offers several small, cosy terrace nooks, and you will always be able to find a sheltered spot. One of the terraces, accessed directly from the living room, is enclosed, allowing you to open up without worrying about dogs or children.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Sven­sti­bak­ke­vej is a small closed road, making the sur­ro­un­dings around the holiday home par­ti­cu­lar­ly peaceful. Lild Strand as a whole has a calm at­mosp­he­re and is sur­ro­un­ded by coastal heathland stret­ching as far as the eye can see. The holiday home is located ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 500 metres from the sea, so you can quickly reach the water for swimming or walking. Nearby excursion options include the specta­cu­lar limestone cliff Bulbjerg, which is home to breeding kit­tiwa­kes. You may also wish to visit the Vejlerne bird reserve or Kirsten Kjær’s Museum, which offers unique art exhi­bi­tions. The area around Lild Strand and Bulbjerg up towards Thorup Strand is de­sig­na­ted and certified as a Dark Sky Park. From the house and the grounds, you can therefore fully enjoy the night sky and the deep darkness – ac­com­pa­nied only by the sound of the sea.

Remember that you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can collect them directly from the office and return them once your holiday has come to an end.
