Welcome inside

Enjoy your holiday in this beautifully situated holiday home. The house has two bedrooms with comfortable beds, as well as an annexe with sleeping accommodation for a further two guests. It is a house with wood panelling throughout, giving it a charming atmosphere. The kitchen is open-plan and connects to the dining area. Outside mealtimes, the house’s sofa area is the perfect place to relax with a good book or the TV, or simply enjoy the view of the fjord.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, the house has 3–4 terraces offering the most beautiful views of the fjord and bridge, as well as Frederikssund Marina. On the terraces, you can move around depending on where the sun is throughout the day. Garden furniture, a parasol and sun loungers are available here when the Danish summer shows itself at its best. It is also on the terrace at the back of the house that the gas barbecue stands ready to produce the finest meals, perhaps prepared using local produce from the area. Always remember to keep a good bottle of rosé wine in the fridge.

Get up close to the local attractions

Right outside the house, there are plenty of great places to visit. If you take your bike or car, Svanholm Manor or Selsø Castle are excellent suggestions for day trips, or take a walk along the Fjord Trail, where you can explore the countryside along the fjord. The area offers several good places to eat, including Gershøj Kro and Gerlev Kro, to name but a few.

A swimming pool, a cultural and sea bath, a golf course and the town of Frederikssund with its many attractions are all within a very short distance of the house. Experience Frederikssund at the Viking Settlement, where Viking games are played in the summer, or the Frederikssund Festival in August – Denmark’s cosiest festival – or try one of the town’s restaurants – there is a wide selection.

Driving distance:

Roskilde 33 km (30 mins) with the Cathedral, the Viking Ship Museum and a wide selection of restaurants

Frederiksund 10 km (15 mins) with the Viking Village and a wide selection of places to eat.
