You enter the house's large common room, living room, kitchen and dining area with high ceilings and access to the two children's rooms on the first floor.
In the living room, you will find a lovely corner sofa, perfect for curling up with a good book or perhaps a good film on the television, maybe a game of PlayStation 3, or gathering around the dining table for a good board game.
From the large common room, there is access to a bedroom with a separate toilet. On the opposite side, by a small hallway, you will find the second bedroom and access to a bathroom with a spa bath. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and dryer.
From the living room, there is direct access to the lovely terrace and the beautiful enclosed garden.

Here you will find the lovely enclosed garden – with a sandpit, swings and a slide for the little ones to enjoy – and a fire pit in the garden, which can be used to create a cosy evening with bread on a stick.
The large lawn offers opportunities for various games for the whole family, or you can relax on the terrace with a good book and a cup of coffee.
Exploring the local area.
Kulhuse is located between Roskilde and the Isefjords at the top of the Hornsherred peninsula. Here you can enjoy nature and the area's lovely child-friendly beaches right by the marina. The holiday home at Kulhuse is located in a scenic area near Nordskoven forest, where there are marked cycling/walking routes that can take you to the old oak trees with over 1500 years of history. The Snoegen and Kongeegen oak trees, which are the oldest oak trees in Northern Europe. Visit Jægerspris Castle – the ice cream shops in the middle of the main street, where Poulsens Is has a history dating back to 1913.
There are several walking and cycling routes in the area around Kulhuse. You can take the Columbus ferry from Kulhuse to Sølager and explore Arresø, Denmark's largest lake, or go to Hundested with its cosy restaurants by the harbour and various art and speciality shops.
Get a taste of the local area by stopping at the many farm shops and specialty shops in North Zealand. Several restaurants also focus on local and organic ingredients. You will easily find several delicacies to take back to your holiday home.
