Welcome inside

A newly refurbished 72m² holiday home, tastefully decorated using high-quality materials with an eye for color coordination. You step into the hall, which leads to the first bedroom; continue into the living room with a dining area and views over the garden; from there, you go straight to the kitchen, bathroom and the house’s second bedroom.

From the living room, there is direct access to the house’s lovely terrace.

Enjoy life outdoors.

Enjoy the large wooden terrace, where you can sit and soak up the morning sun, have breakfast under the covered terrace, sit back later in the day and enjoy a glass of wine with a good book in hand, and in the evening light the barbecue and enjoy a lovely meal whilst savouring the tranquillity and admiring the stunning sunsets. The garden offers plenty of space for play and games, as well as space for nature’s birds and insects on a patch of grass left wild on purpose. Alternatively, sit by the fire pit, relax to the crackling of the fire and enjoy the evening as it draws in.

Enjoy the surroundings

The holiday home village of Kulhuse is situated close to Isefjorden and Roskilde Fjord. Here you can enjoy nature, go for a swim in the fjord and spend time with family and friends.

In the area around Kulhuse, there are several walking and cycling routes, including the Fjordlandsruten, which winds its way through the beautiful countryside; or you can splash about in the waves at Kulhuse’s sandy beach. You can also take the Columbus ferry from Kulhuse to Sølager and explore Arresø, Denmark’s largest lake. There are cycling and walking routes around the lake, or you can head to Hundested, where there’s a wide selection of restaurants and shops.

Get a taste of the local area by stopping off at the many farm shops and specialist shops found in North Zealand. Several restaurants also focus on local and organic produce. You’ll easily find plenty of delicacies to take back to your holiday home.

From Kulhuse, you can quickly reach Jægerspris and Jægerspris Castle. In Nordskoven near Jægerspris stand Denmark’s three oldest oak trees: Storkeegen, Snoegen and Kongeegen. Only Kongeegen remains, and it is estimated to be between 1,500 and 2,000 years old. This makes it the oldest oak tree in Northern Europe.
