Unique location directly on Roskilde Fjord.
House-ID: FJ1017Come on in.
Here you will find a beautiful, bright, newly renovated house with panoramic views over the large grounds that lead directly to Roskilde Fjord.
Small dogs are welcome.
The house has three lovely rooms, a large open-plan living room with kitchen and dining area, and a lovely wood-burning stove.
Make yourself comfortable with a cup of coffee, enjoy the warmth from the stove, and let yourself be captivated by the view and wildlife in the garden, without the distraction of the television.
Step outside
No matter where the sun is shining, there is a cosy nook with shelter and chairs on the large wooden terrace, which is covered in several places - enjoy your holiday with a glass of wine, have lunch or dinner from the barbecue, enjoy the large garden with space for games, etc. and the fantastic view of the fjord.
You can also light up the wilderness bath and enjoy the evening as it draws to a close - look up at the stars and take time to dream.
The public path to the left of the house leads down to the fjord. In 2026, a raised embankment will be built along the fjord. It is not permitted to walk on the embankment; you must use the designated crossings to get out to the fjord. (Expected construction period: March-November).
Get close to local experiences
In the charming old town of Kulhuse, there is a harbour and a child-friendly sandy beach, and the large Nordskov forest is within easy reach, with marked cycling and walking routes – experience the more than 1,000-year-old oak trees, listen to and smell the magnificent nature.
The fjord is also good for fishing, and the ferry connection takes you across the fjord to Sølager. You can also quickly reach Hundested, which has a brewery, glassworks and craft workshops. In Kulhuse harbour, you can also see the remains of the Englænderskansen defence fortification, built against the English in 1808 to protect the cannon factory in Frederiksværk. The forest also contains the royal hunting lodge from 1857. In Jægerspris, you can explore the old castle and treat yourself to an ice cream from Poulsens Isbod, which has been selling ice cream since 1913. Jægerspris Mill is still in operation, and you can also buy fresh flour there in the summer.
Just 15 km to the south is the nearest town, Frederikssund, where you can shop and eat out – there is a wide selection of varied eateries, and Frederikssund hosts the annual Viking Festival, Frederikssund Music Festival. If you prefer hiking, take a walk along the waterfront, see the ‘old harbour’ and the marina, or visit the Willumsen Museum.
