Welcome inside

The cottage appears both bright and inviting and well-laid out. The open kitchen in con­nection with the living room is the meeting point, where the day's ex­pe­ri­en­ces are discussed over a good dinner, before relaxing on the sofa with either a good book or a movie. The house has 4 good bedrooms.

Enjoy life outside

The cottage is located in a quiet area. From the large terrace you have a view of the area down towards the fjord that cannot be described but must be seen. The plot has good border planting, so you can sit outside in unob­structed sur­ro­un­dings and enjoy the sun. If you fancy a dip, just walk the short way down to Vigen or down to the jetty by the large shared lawn where there are endless op­portu­ni­ties to play or just relax on a blanket. When evening falls and it's time for a good time, you can light up the charcoal grill and prepare a delicious dinner from the grill.

Get up close to local ex­pe­ri­en­ces

Almost eve­rywhe­re on the Horns­her­red peninsula you have a fantastic view of the two en­chan­ting fjords, Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord. There are good swimming op­portu­ni­ties along the coast, and the marked paths invite you to take re­fres­hing walks through the rolling hills. Ex­pe­ri­en­ce the local at­tra­ctions, Jægerspris Castle, Selsø Castle or Egholm Museum, and don't miss an ice cream from Poulsen Isbod in Jægerspris - ice cream since 1913. You can also visit Roskilde, the city of kings, with its im­pres­si­ve cathedral and museum in the old knights' hall. The Viking Ship Museum is also worth a visit with its permanent and temporary exhi­bi­tions. From May to September, tours on Viking ships are also organized in Roskilde. You can also take a walk through the cozy city center with its beautiful shops, art galleries and artisans.
