Welcome inside

In the conservatory, you can spend balmy evenings watching the sunset over the fjord or playing a game of table football. The house is fitted with a ventilation system, and the hot tub is equipped with a large heating element that allows the water to heat up quickly. There are plenty of opportunities to play your favourite music via a soundbar, which can be connected to your own devices via Bluetooth, so you can enjoy great sound wherever you like, without disturbing the rest of the house.

In addition, there is a conference room/home cinema with a 100-inch screen, a Full HD projector with HDMI connection and a soundbar. The room also features a bar with bar stools, two café-style seating areas and a kitchen. The house is situated on a sloping plot with a lovely lawn for ball games and play. The large party barbecue is ready for cooking delicious holiday meals. Three of the bedrooms and a bathroom are located in the basement.

Enjoy life outside

500 m to the Fjordstien, a beautiful nature cycle path along Roskilde Fjord and Isefjorden. It is 2 km to Frederikssund Golf Course – a DGU card or equivalent is required. The fjord is a very popular spot for kayaking and canoeing. At the scenic Tørslev Hage, you can look forward to many lovely walks along the paths through the park.

Get up close to the local attractions

Right outside the house, there are plenty of great places to visit. If you take your bike or car, Svanholm Manor or Selsø Castle are excellent suggestions for day trips, or take a walk along the Fjord Trail, where you can explore the countryside along the fjord. The area offers several good places to eat, including Gershøj Kro and Gerlev Kro, to name but a few.

A swimming pool, a cultural and sea bath, a golf course and the town of Frederikssund with its many attractions are all within a very short distance of the house. Experience Frederikssund at the Viking Settlement, where Viking games are played in the summer, or the Frederikssund Festival in August – Denmark’s cosiest festival – or try one of the town’s restaurants – there is a wide selection.

Copenhagen, with all its exciting activities and attractions, is only about a 45-minute drive away. The S-train to Copenhagen departs from Frederikssund (8 minutes from the house) and takes about 35 minutes. There are swimming facilities 4 km away. The house is situated close to a protected bird sanctuary, which you have a lovely view of.
