Welcome to this obvious choice for a relaxed family holiday, where cosiness and outdoor life are the focus.

The house has three bedrooms, one of which is perfect for a couple of children. The layout is ideal for renting and socialising, making it perfect for families with children who want a safe environment, including an annex that serves as a large playroom.

Enjoy life outdoors

Summer evenings on the large, partially covered terrace can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. There is plenty of space for barbecuing and relaxing. The garden has both a swing set and a trampoline, and there are also many games and other things available for playing on the lawn. With only 850 metres to the fjord and beach, it's easy to pack your beach bag and head down to the child-friendly water when the temperature allows. In Kulhuse, you will find both Brugsen with good shopping opportunities and the harbour if you fancy a large waffle.

Get up close to the local attractions

Visit Jægerspris, which has several good ice cream parlours and restaurants. Nordskoven offers plenty of opportunities for walks to the three ancient oak trees. Kulhuse Marina, with its 120 berths, offers a maritime atmosphere and cosiness. Close to the harbour, you will find some of the best beaches. From April to October, the M/F Columbus sails between Kulhuse and Sølager near Hundested. The trip takes about 8 minutes and is definitely worth doing if you have a little time to visit the other side of the fjord. If you are interested in history, we recommend a visit to Englænderskansen, located at Kulhusvej 212. This is a historic fortification from the English Wars, which today is a peaceful nature area with free access. The fjord region has no fewer than three historic castles to offer. Check the opening hours and visit Jægerspris Castle, Selsø Castle or Egholm Castle Museum with its 1,500 m2 exhibition on war history from the 17th century to World War II.
