Welcome inside

The holiday home is both bright and inviting with an in­te­gra­ted con­ser­va­tory. The open kitchen connected to the living room is the gathering place where the day's ex­pe­ri­en­ces are discussed over a good dinner before relaxing on the sofa with a good book or film while the fire in the wood-burning stove crackles behind the glass. The house has 6 beds in 2 bedrooms and in the annex. In addition, there are 2 sleeping places in bunk beds in the large room, mostly for children/younger people.

Enjoy life outside

The holiday home is located in a quiet area, un­dis­tur­bed by neig­h­bours. The grounds are well planted, so you can sit outside in secluded sur­ro­un­dings and enjoy the sun. From the terrace, there is a beautiful view of the fjord in the distance, which cannot be described but must be seen. If you fancy a dip, just walk the short distance down to Vigen or the other way down to the bathing jetty by the large communal lawn, where there are endless op­portu­ni­ties to play or just relax on a blanket. When evening falls and it's time to relax, you can light up the gas barbecue and cook a delicious dinner.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Almost eve­rywhe­re on the Horns­her­red peninsula, you have a fantastic view of the two en­chan­ting fjords, Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord. There are excellent swimming spots along the coast, and the marked trails invite you to take re­fres­hing walks through the rolling hills. You can also visit Roskilde, the city of kings, with its im­pres­si­ve cathedral and museum in the old knight's hall. The Viking Ship Museum is also worth a visit with its permanent and temporary exhi­bi­tions. From May to September, Viking ship tours are also organised in Roskilde.
