Newly renovated holiday home with fantastic views of Ørslevkloster Lake
House-ID: LF15197The lovely kitchen, the cosy wood-burning stove in the living room, and the vast natural grounds – all great reasons to choose this holiday home for your next getaway. And we haven’t even mentioned the stunning view of Ørslevkloster Lake yet.
Welcome inside
Following a thorough renovation in 2020, the house presents itself in a bright and stylish way. The modern, open-plan kitchen provides excellent conditions for cooking, and once you’ve prepared a delicious meal, you can enjoy it at the dining table. The wood-burning stove in the living room is perfect for cosy moments on the sofa or watching TV – though you might find it hard to tear your gaze away from the beautiful lake view through the large living room windows. The alcove, with both mattresses and a skylight, is a lovely spot for relaxing – and might even serve as a sleeping area if you’re not already spread out across the three bedrooms. The bathroom features a shower, underfloor heating, and a combined washer-dryer, while the entrance hall is spacious and attractive.
Enjoy life outside
The 4099 m² natural plot is beautifully located in a small, secluded area facing Ørslevkloster Lake. A partially covered terrace faces southwest, while to the east you’ll find an open terrace – ideal for enjoying your morning coffee in the sun or taking a midday siesta. Children will love the sandbox, trampoline, and a play tower with swings and a slide. There’s even a football goal if the whole family is up for a quick match.
Get up close to the local attractions
This holiday home is not only close to the local lake, but also near Hjarbæk Fjord, just a few hundred metres away. It’s the perfect setting if, in addition to admiring the water views, you’d also like to spend your days surfing, swimming, or fishing. Virksund’s charming marina makes for a lovely excursion, especially if you're in the mood for an ice cream while watching the sailboats sway in the water. Skive is just a 20-minute drive away if you'd like to visit the cosy fjord town. You can also explore Mønsted Limestone Mines – the largest of their kind in the world – or take the family on a wonderful trip to the open-air museum Hjerl Hede.
