The house was built in 2007 and extended in 2017 with an additional living room, giving you a total of 120 m² to relax in. In this living room, a large gable window lets you take in the stunning views of the fjord and the rolling landscape – perfect for when you're gathered at the dining table for card games and coffee. The living room is openly connected to a broad lounge and hallway area with a wood-burning stove and a ladder leading to two large loft spaces with play facilities for the kids. A stylish kitchen with breakfast bar is also part of the open-plan area, while a lovely bathroom with steam cabin and three bedrooms with double beds are smartly distributed throughout the home.
Enjoy life outside
Outside, a wonderful setting awaits. The terrace area includes a sauna and outdoor shower. From the sauna, you can enjoy panoramic views over the fjord and coast, making it the perfect place to relax in beautiful surroundings. There’s ample space for unwinding on the large wooden terrace that wraps around the house. Near the carport, a paved terrace gives you the chance to wheel out the ping pong table from the shed for a few matches, and the lawn provides plenty of room for play and ball games.
Get up close to the local attractions
The holiday home is located in a peaceful and enclosed area set within a stunning, undulating landscape of fields and forest. Hjarbæk Fjord is just a few hundred metres away, and it’s only a couple of kilometres to Hjarbæk Fjord Golf Centre – even if you're not into golf, the restaurant is well worth a visit for a delicious meal with views of the course and the fjord. You might also enjoy a trip to the nearby town of Hjarbæk, where you can dine at the local inn and admire the traditional boats, known as sjægte, for which the harbour is famous.
