Charming wooden holiday home with lovely views of the Limfjord
House-ID: LF15319If you dream of enjoying a truly classic Danish seaside holiday, be sure to take a closer look at Jelsevej 319. This lovely wooden house is full of charm and has a wonderfully cosy atmosphere – and it’s located on a peaceful road on the Lundø peninsula with the finest view of the Limfjord.
Welcome inside
Of course, it’s obvious that you’ll want to spend a big part of your holiday swimming, playing, and walking along the water’s edge when you’re staying on Lundø – but it’s also lovely to enjoy indoor cosiness in the holiday home with knitting, good books, and quality time with the family. The sofa area is perfect for lounging – perhaps while watching a film or your favourite series on the flat-screen TV – and the modern kitchen has excellent working conditions for when it’s time to cook. Your favourite seat is likely to be at the round dining table, where you can gaze directly at the fjord while enjoying a delicious meal with the ones you love the most. The whole house has a bright and friendly atmosphere, which also extends to the two bedrooms and the shower bathroom.
Enjoy life outside
With its 2,575 m², the natural plot is impressively large, so if you want to play with the children or the dog on the lawn, you’ll hardly run out of space. On several sides, the plot is beautifully framed by tall deciduous and coniferous trees, but it opens up to the east, giving you an unobstructed view of the fjord. There’s something magical about sitting on the terrace with your morning coffee while the sun dances on the blue water – and if there’s nothing else on your agenda, you can sit here for hours – maybe with a quick trip down to paddle or swim in the fjord.
Get up close to the local attractions
Lundø is a wonderful place to spend your holiday if you’re dreaming of relaxing in peaceful and private surroundings. No matter whether you head east or west, the coast is just a short walk away, as the peninsula is only a few hundred metres wide – and especially on the western side, the shallow beaches are ideal for children. Surfing, fishing, and kayaking are among the outdoor activities practiced in the area, and you’ll also find plenty of opportunities to go hiking or cycling if you prefer staying on land. The holiday home is close to the local campsite, which has its own restaurant – and in addition, Restaurant Øhaven is within easy reach, while the centre of Skive is just a 20-minute drive away.
