This beau­ti­ful­ly decorated holiday home enjoys a lovely location at the end of a small cul-de-sac in Strandet, south of Virksund. Inside, you can spend time playing pool and relaxing on the sofa by the wood-burning stove – unless you're enjoying the holiday life by Hjarbæk Fjord, which is just 500 metres away.

Welcome inside
Following a renova­tion in 2021, the holiday home appears espe­ci­al­ly cosy and inviting. All rooms are well and modernly furnished. This also applies to the bathroom with a shower and the entrance area, which features both a washing machine and good storage space. The two bedrooms can ac­com­moda­te a total of five people. The sofa bed in the living room provides two ad­di­tio­nal sleeping spots. The living room is a lovely communal space with a wood-burning stove and a large flat-screen TV, where the whole family can stream movies and series or play together on the Wii console. In the modern open kitchen, you can prepare your meals. Part of the open-plan living space is a con­ser­va­tory that delights with beautiful natural light from the large panoramic windows and a pool table.

Enjoy life outside
Around the holiday home, there are three great terrace areas available. In good weather, you'll always find a sunny and sheltered spot. The gas grill and garden furniture invite you to enjoy at­mosp­he­ric outdoor meals. At the fire pit, you can cosy up in the evenings and toast twist bread. The lawn stretches around the house and provides plenty of space for ball games and play. The planting along the edge offers good privacy for the outdoor areas.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Strandet is a small, idyllic holiday home area with little cul-de-sacs and paths, making it easy to get around the area on foot. The coast is about 500 metres away. On the way to the water, however, it's recom­men­ded to take a detour, as the landscape along Hjarbæk Fjord is in­cre­di­bly beautiful and pi­c­tu­resque. Anglers will find good fishing spots in the area. With a kayak or SUP board, you can head out on the water from the shore. The beautiful nature is also well ex­pe­ri­en­ced by bike – for example on a pleasant trip to Virksund. The two larger towns, Skive and Viborg, can be reached by car in about 25 minutes.
