This thatched quality holiday home near Fanø Bad is the perfect base for those who need a relaxing vacation. The house is spacious and has an excellent layout for eight people – including a wellness bathroom with a hot tub and sauna – and outside there are lovely terraces, play equipment, and even a bunker on the charming nature plot.

Welcome inside
The 155 m² holiday home was built in 2007 and features both elegant and com­fortab­le decor with modern fur­nis­hin­gs and lovely design. The layout makes the house ideal for two families, as the four bedrooms and two bathrooms are evenly di­stri­bu­ted over two levels – and on the first floor, you'll find a small viewing lounge, while the ground floor offers a de­light­ful living space with an in­te­gra­ted kitchen. No matter where you are inside the house, it’s wonderful to be indoors: If it’s cool outside, you can light the wood stove or com­ple­te­ly unwind with warm spa baths and sauna ex­pe­ri­en­ces. And if the sun is shining outside, you can enjoy the beautiful light streaming through the windows, unless you decide to move your leisure time entirely out onto the lovely nature plot.

Enjoy life outside
The outdoor areas are something special, as the green plot is hilly, and an old bunker is even built into the terrain. If you want to enjoy the view of the landscape, you can sit at the top; otherwise, the house’s nearest terraces are also lovely places to relax – for example, in the south-facing area where you can soak up the sun in un­dis­tur­bed sur­ro­un­dings. It will certainly be exciting for the children to play and explore among the ve­ge­ta­tion of the nature plot, and for the youngest, there is both a swing and a sandbox to enjoy.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Skovly is an at­tra­cti­ve place to spend your holiday, as the road is small and closed, and the area offers many scenic spots if you want to go for a walk or perhaps even rent a bike. Fanø is not large, so on two wheels, you can easily get around the entire Wadden Sea island – for example, to Nordby’s charming town center, to Fanø Klit­plan­ta­ge, and to the east coast, where you can look out over the flat tidal area towards the mainland. If you need a swim in the North Sea, you can quickly reach Fanø Bad, and of course, it’s entirely up to you if it’s just a quick dip or if you want to stay for hours to lounge on the beautiful sandy beach.
