Interior
With a fantastic location on Helgesnæs and close to Sletterhage lighthouse, you will find this idyllic pearl of a thatched holiday home on two levels. On the ground floor is the entrance to a cozy conservatory, that is placed in connection of the kitchen with a dining-area. Then you walk into the small cozy, but functional, kitchen with a dishwasher. Nice living-room with good dining-area and wood stove, and a cozy furnished nook, wherefrom there is exit to the lawn. On the ground floor you find one of the house’s bedrooms. Great bathroom with shower. On the first floor you find the bright and cozy furnished living-room, with exit to the nice terrace, wherefrom you have the most beautiful sea view. On the first floor you find the second bedroom of the house. There is a heat pump in the house.
Outdoor
the house Is located on a small natural plot. Here you find the terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers. From the house you fin the most beautiful view of the landscape. It is also possible to go to the terrace from the outside and from here you have the beautiful view of the water and you can follow the ship traffic.
Location
The area around Helgesnæs is known for its unique and hilly nature with tall dunes, fantastic view-points and animal life. In the area you find Tyskertårnet, which is a remain from World War 2. From here you can look out as far as the eye can see, for example to Samsø, Tunø, Århus and Odderkysten. The house is not far from Sletterhage lighthouse, where you can follow the big ships to and from Århus port, and the big luxury liners sail very close to the coast. The area has the 99-meter-tall Ellemandsbjerg, which is a favorite amongst excursion destinations.
There is 22 km. to Ebeltoft town, where you find many attractions, for example Det Gamle Rådhus, where people from far away can get married. In Ebeltoft you also find the glass museum, which is leading in modern glass art. There is about ¾ hour drive from the house to the Norths biggest amusement park Djurs Sommerland, where you find activities for both adults and children.
