Description
Interior
This family holiday home is close to a good, child-friendly beach, with an ice cream shop and a play area. The simple furnishings and sloping ceilings give the house an appealing, airy atmosphere. The living room, kitchen and dining area form an open-plan unit, allowing you to enjoy lots of valuable time together. The kitchen has everything a modern family needs to prepare holiday meals. In the living and dining area, you can enjoy direct access to a south-east-facing terrace, which offers plenty of sunshine and a charming view. The rest of the living space is dedicated to a bathroom with a washing machine and three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed. The other two have two single beds each.
Outdoor
The holiday home sits on a small plot of land. You will spend a lot of time with your family on the huge terrace, unless you are swimming at the beach or enjoying an ice cream at the ice cream parlour. There is a sandpit on the terrace. In extension of the terrace is a small lawn area that can be used for playing. Behind the holiday home there is a communal area for larger activities. There is also a beautiful viewpoint in the communal area. On chilly evenings, a radiant heater on the terrace ensures cosy temperatures.
Location
The area around Følle Strand is a cosy, very popular holiday home area. The beach consists mainly of sandy areas and is very popular with windsurfers. From the beach you can see the bay of Århus, the Kalø castle ruins and Mols Bjerge. In front of the beach are large green areas with picnic benches and a bowling alley. Thanks to its central location, you can reach popular excursion destinations such as the Kattegatcentret in Grenaa, the Randers Regnskov, the "Tivoli Friheden" amusement park in Aarhus, the Mols Bjerge National Park and, last but not least, the largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Sommerland, within half an hour. The city of Aarhus offers the best shopping and cultural highlights and its centre is easily accessible by public bus from Rønde. We also recommend a trip to the old trading town of Ebeltoft, which is enchanting with its narrow cobbled streets, small half-timbered houses and blooming hollyhocks. You can do your daily shopping in the nearby town of Rønde. Small shops and several pubs invite you to stroll and linger.
