Imagine stepping into a brand-new holiday home, where the scent of fresh wood still lingers in the air and eve­ryt­hing is bright, welcoming, and filled with promise. From July 5th, the house will be ready to welcome you – and right now, the final touches are being carefully completed by the craftsmen. Every detail has been thought­ful­ly con­si­de­red to make sure your holiday starts off just right.

Inside, you're greeted by airy rooms with high ceilings and a modern interior that invites re­laxa­tion, con­nection, and that un­mista­kab­le holiday feeling. Large windows let in the sunlight, and from every room you can step straight out onto the terrace – letting the fresh air and soft birdsong become part of your stay.

At the heart of the house is the elegant kitchen, complete with quality materials, plenty of space, and a practical Quooker tap to make eve­ryt­hing a little easier. From here, the open-plan dining area flows naturally into a cozy lounge with soft furniture – perfect for relaxing, playing games, or enjoying a good film on the TV.

As the day winds down, four lovely bedrooms await you – three with com­fortab­le double beds and one family bedroom featuring both a double bed and a spacious bunk bed suitable for adults.

After a day with bare feet in the sand and the sun on your face, it’s a pleasure to step into the bright and stylish bathroom. Take your time under the shower, feel the warmth of the water, and let the day's ad­ven­tu­res gently settle. The washing machine and dryer are ready for anything – whether it's sandy towels, wet swimwear, or a jacket that got a bit too ad­ven­tu­rous. And with room for up to ten people, the extra guest toilet is ab­so­lu­te­ly essential – espe­ci­al­ly during those busy morning and evening hours.

On warm days, the outdoor shower is nearly ir­re­si­stib­le – rinse off the last grains of sand under the open sky and feel the true essence of holiday seep in.

Enjoy life outside

When the sun stretches across the terrace and that un­mista­kab­le holiday joy fills the air, the outdoor spaces quickly become a favorite gathering spot. With sunny corners and cozy covered areas, there’s always a perfect place to settle – maybe with a good book in the shade, a steaming morning coffee in the first golden rays, or a delicious dinner under a sky slowly turning pink with sunset.

The large green lawn invites life and play – challenge each other to a ball game, play tag, or simply run around laughing. The youngest guests will love the sandbox and the play structure with a slide, swing, climbing wall, and space to explore. Their joyful laughter will soon fill the garden.

As the day fades and the children go to bed with rosy cheeks, a calmness settles over the house. Light up the outdoor fireplace on the terrace, enjoy a good drink, and listen to the quiet crackle of the flames under a sky full of stars.

And to top it all off, your very own private oasis awaits – the spa. Sink into the warm, bubbling water, let every tension melt away, and talk about the day while the night quietly wraps around you.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

On your way to the holiday home, you’ll pass through the charming little town of Gjerrild, where you’ll find Sostrup Castle, a beautiful church, a tra­di­tio­nal inn, and a local grocery store. Gjerrild Nord­s­trand is a lovely, family-friendly beach with soft sand, Blue Flag cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, and gentle dunes – perfect for children. Gjerrild Klint is one of Denmark’s best spots for birdwat­ching, and from here you also have access to some of Djursland’s top sea trout fishing locations. The area offers plenty of great hiking, running, and cycling trails – including the popular North Sea Trail, stret­ching all the way from Udbyhøj by Randers Fjord to Grenaa.

The old market town of Grenaa is just a 20-minute drive away and offers charming pe­de­stri­an streets, pavement cafés, and exciting at­tra­ctions like Museum Østjylland and the Kattegat Centre, where you can get up close to sharks, penguins, and seals. The kids will love a day at Djurs Som­mer­land – the largest amusement park in the Nordic region – located about 30 minutes from the house, along with many other fun acti­vi­ties across Djursland. Don’t miss out on a visit to Randers Regnskov or explore the southern parts of beautiful Djursland.
