There’s a sun terrace and garden room facing south, and finally, a lovely barbecue terrace facing west. All this is surrounded by a beautiful fence and planting. If you feel like taking a dip in the “blue wave” – it’s only 400 meters to the loveliest beach with a blue flag.
Experience the local attractions The environment around Grenå Beach and harbor is something special. Firstly, there is a nice and fine beach, one of Denmark’s best with a blue flag, toilet facilities, a wheelchair ramp, and a lifeguard tower during the summer holidays. There’s plenty happening on the beach, where you can play beach volleyball and engage in water sports like stand-up paddleboarding. If you enjoy fishing, Polderrevet, which separates the two beaches, is a popular fishing spot. There are great opportunities to eat from your own picnic basket or visit one of the lovely dining places in the area. Also visit the Kattegat Center, home to sharks, penguins, and much more from the sea, or take a trip to the Fornæs lighthouse for a fine nature experience. Finally, there’s Grenå town, where you can shop, dine, and enjoy museums, the church, and culture. It’s all nearby, and if that’s not enough, the rest of Djursland offers plenty more.
