Well-furnished holiday home on a closed road - with spa, sauna and terrace

The peaceful and family-friendly location on a closed road is one of the pluses of this beautiful house at Skaven Strand. But it is certainly not the only quality, because the house offers, among other things, a hot tub and sauna, a beautiful living room and the most beautiful outdoor areas.

Welcome inside

The cottage has a nice and friendly at­mosp­he­re in all rooms, so you can quickly feel at home inside. In the living room, there is a vaulted ceiling and light wood paneling on the walls, and both the alcove and the wood-burning stove are charming features that help to increase the cozy at­mosp­he­re - just think how wonderful it can be to take a rest on the alcove's mattress, while the rest of the family is chatting, reading books or baking in the open kitchen. If you need to relax, it's also great to dedicate an hour or two to a spa bath and a sauna trip, because it's really something that gives peace and warmth to the body. Both the spa and sauna are in the largest of the house's bathrooms, which are located at the same end of the house as the three good bedrooms.

Enjoy life outside

From the living room you have direct access to a large wooden terrace, which offers several good seats and peaceful sunspots. Part of the terrace is covered if you're looking for shade, and you and the family can also sit here in the evening - so you don't have to think about whether the dew should fall, and instead you can con­cen­tra­te fully on the good con­ver­sa­tion as well as the lovely dinner that will soon be ready on the grill. On the enclosed grounds there is a swing set for the youngest holiday guests, and the lawn can be enjoyed by both children, adults and even the family dog if you want to play ball and play.

Get close to the local ex­pe­ri­en­ces

The summer house is quietly located on the closed Sortbærvej - very close to the open co­un­trysi­de and just a nice walk from Skaven Strand. The area is a lovely place to holiday for the whole family: the beach is suitable for swimming, crab fishing and surfing, and there is a fishing lake, mini golf and play­gro­unds within a few hundred meters if you need en­tertain­ment and fun acti­vi­ties in the open air. Along Ringkøbing Fjord, you can follow a path on foot or by bike – for example to the scenic Skjern Enge or to cozy Bork Harbour. If you're up for a challenge, you can also cycle the entire fjord, unless you prefer to take the drive by car.
