Welcome to this charming holiday home, beau­ti­ful­ly situated on a large, sheltered plot near Skaven Strand. The sur­ro­un­dings are ideal for families with children, as the road ends in a cul-de-sac, and from here you have only a few minutes’ walk to a child-friendly bathing beach and a cosy little harbour.

The holiday home is a neat 96 m² property, last renovated in 2017, providing plenty of space and com­fortab­le con­di­tions indoors. The layout is excellent, offering three lovely bedrooms as well as a bathroom with shower, washing machine and un­der­floor heating. The heart of the home is the large living area, which combines an open kitchen, dining space and two separate sofa areas. A large wood-burning stove naturally divides the two cosy seating zones – and it is of course ready to spread warmth and enhance the homely at­mosp­he­re. You can also use the heat pump, and on warm summer days you can open the patio doors to invite the fresh air inside and enjoy direct access to the terrace.

Enjoy life outside
Outside, a large paved terrace wraps around the house, allowing you to move the garden furniture throug­hout the day to follow the sun from sunrise to sunset. The lawn is also spacious, and there is a play set with swings and a slide, giving children plenty of room to play in safe and peaceful sur­ro­un­dings.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The quiet holiday area at Skaven Strand is an ideal place for a family getaway. The beach is so close that even with small children it is easy to walk there, and the shallow water is very safe and child-friendly. The at­tra­cti­ve location by Ringkøbing Fjord is also a big advantage if you enjoy surfing or stand-up pad­dle­bo­ar­ding, and if you like fishing, there is a put-and-take lake by the campsite. The area also offers a local re­stau­rant and a charming harbour, and near the beach you will find a play­gro­und and a ball field. In short, you can easily spend your entire holiday at Skaven Strand, but there is also plenty to discover in the wider area – from the open-air museum Bork Vikin­ge­havn and the nature reserve Skjern Enge to the bird sanctuary Tipperne and the beautiful sandy beaches along the North Sea. The house also has an agreement that gives guests free access to six local swimming pools and water parks.
