Interior
The holiday homes here in this area are of recent date, and exactly this one is a lovely wooden holiday home from 2006. Inside you can spread out on 75 m², where typical summer house features like the bright wooden strips on the walls and the ceiling that goes all the way up create a light and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom's sauna and the wood burning stove in the living room are classic house details, but there are also modern extras - for example, Chromecast in the living room, so it is easy to stream TV. In addition to flat screen and wood burning stove, there is a sofa and dining table in the living room, and in the open kitchen you can enjoy preparing brunch and other holiday meals. From the kitchen a hallway leads directly to the house's bathroom and the three bedrooms, all furnished with good double beds.
Outdoor
From the living room you can step out onto a large, partially covered terrace that is absolutely perfect on sunny summer days. The terrace faces south and therefore well in relation to the sun, and the belonging garden furniture makes sure you can sit comfortably and enjoy lazing around. The holiday home is surrounded by a large, flat lawn and there is a swing rack on the grounds for the youngest holidaymakers.
Location
Quite close to the holiday home is a playground with a ball court for children of all ages, and both young and older visitors can easily go out and enjoy nature. The enclosed holiday home area is located on the outskirts of Bork Havn and therefore borders open fields. There is a short walking distance to the small river Fahl Å, which meanders through the flat landscape. At Fahl Å you will find Bork Vikingehavn, where the Viking age is brought to life by reconstructed houses, ships and on the marketplace. After the visit to the museum, you can continue to Bork Havn, where there are several shops and eateries near the cosy harbour environment, and a swim or windsurfing can also be done on the local beaches at Ringkøbing Fjord.
