Charming holiday home in beautiful nature

The holiday at­mosp­he­re is at its best at Grævlingevej 19 by Hemmet Strand. This holiday home is a par­ti­cu­lar­ly cosy and well-appointed example, and the peaceful natural sur­ro­un­dings and short distance to the fjord naturally add to its charm.

Welcome inside
The holiday home has been located here in these scenic sur­ro­un­dings since 1969, but its excellent condition clearly shows that it has been main­tai­ned and mo­der­ni­sed in the meantime. However, the classic holiday home charm is still very much alive – partly due to the unpainted wooden panelling on the walls, the wood-burning stove and other cosy details inside. As is typical for an A-house, the ground floor is larger than the first floor: On the lower level, most of the square metres are dedicated to a lovely living room with an in­te­gra­ted kitchen area and large dormer windows, and a neat bathroom is also part of the floor plan. A staircase leads up to the sleeping area, which consists of two good bedrooms that can ac­com­moda­te a total of five holiday guests.

Enjoy life outside
On the first floor, there is access to a covered balcony from one of the bedrooms. Although it is cosy to sit here, it is more likely that the terrace area will become your favourite outdoor space, as it allows you to choose between several lovely seating areas around the house. To the southwest, the terrace is raised so you can look straight into the green treetops while enjoying the sunshine in a com­fortab­le garden chair.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
On the natural grounds, you can relax in un­dis­tur­bed sur­ro­un­dings, and it almost feels like you are living on the edge of a forest. At the same time, it is not far to the open co­un­trysi­de, because when you set out on the small roads and paths of the holiday home area, you will quickly reach the beach meadow and the beautiful coastal landscape along Ringkøbing Fjord. Close to the house is a small beach with a bathing jetty, and if you have brought a kayak or SUP boards with you on holiday, it is also easy to set out on the water. Along the coast, there is a path from Bork Harbour to Skjern Enge, so there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for lovely walks, runs and bike rides. Daily shopping can easily be done in Hemmet, and there are several places to eat in the local area if you want to combine your day trip with a visit to a re­stau­rant.
