Large and spacious holiday house with a fantastic view of the fjord

When you spend your holiday at Hemmet Strand, it is obvious to fill the days with swimming trips, angling, surfing and other outdoor acti­vi­ties. But right here at Grævlingevej 24, it's also a good idea to set aside plenty of time to enjoy yourself indoors, because the house is ta­ste­ful­ly decorated, and it entices with the most beautiful view of Ringkøbing Fjord and the scenic area.

A wooden plaque on the black facade tells you that the house is called Vennelyst, and perhaps it is precisely the friends you should invite to Hemmet - espe­ci­al­ly if they also like to enjoy life in beautiful and com­fortab­le sur­ro­un­dings. A lot of nice things have been done with the interior design in the 102 m2 house, and not least in the high-ceilinged living room, where the kitchen and living room are in an open con­nection. The sofas are perfectly po­si­tio­ned so that you can look straight out at the bre­ath­taking fjord landscape while flipping through a magazine or just letting your thoughts fly over a good cup of coffee. The dining table is a lovely place to gather for a delicious meal, but you can also consider whether you would rather sit in the con­ser­va­tory, where the panoramic windows invite the sunlight and the fjord view in.

Enjoy life outside

The con­ser­va­tory's windows can be slid all the way to the side, so in the summer the area functions as a covered terrace - perfect for breakfast with the family or a quiet afternoon with an exciting book. On the natural grounds there are also other lovely places to sit, and on the other side of the house there is both a tiled terrace and lawn with football goals as well as a tram­po­li­ne for the children. In an un­dis­tur­bed corner you will also find a beautiful outdoor bath, and there is also an outdoor shower where you can take a morning bath to the sound of birdsong from the treetops. If you want to explore the scenic sur­ro­un­dings to your heart's content, you can freely borrow the house's two bicycles and set off on the beautiful route along Ringkøbing Fjord.

Get close to the local ex­pe­ri­en­ces

When you want to go down to the local beach for a swim or race out on a SUP board, there is certainly no need to find the bike, because you live directly facing the coast, which is waiting just 300 meters away. The beautiful landscape offers open, heather-covered expanses and dense forest areas, and there is always something new to look at when you go for a walk, run or bike ride in the peaceful co­un­trysi­de. A pleasant walk away you will find a cozy harbor en­viron­ment and a fishing lake, and in ap­proxi­ma­te­ly seven minutes by car you will reach a well-stocked su­per­mar­ket in Hemmet by.
