Holiday home un­der­go­ing renova­tion in spring 2026

100 metres – that's how far you have to walk from this holiday home to Ringkøbing Fjord. This gives you a fantastic base for spending your holidays swimming, surfing and going on long walks along the coast, while the holiday home itself provides a wonderful setting for cosy indoor moments.

Welcome inside
The at­mosp­he­re is warm and friendly inside the holiday home, which is a classic wooden house from 1973. Over the years, it has been well main­tai­ned and updated with modern con­ve­ni­en­ces – including a washing machine in the bathroom, a dis­hwas­her in the kitchen and a heat pump with cooling in the living room. The living room and kitchen are open plan, so even if you are busy preparing dinner, you can still chat with the rest of the family as they relax near the wood-burning stove. After dinner, you can consider ending the day with a good film, as there is both a TV and DVD player in the living room, and when it's time to say goodnight, you can settle down in the double beds in the two bedrooms.

Enjoy life outside
There are several terraces to choose from around the holiday home. To the east and south, there is paving, while a partially covered wooden terrace faces west. The lawn offers plenty of space to relax on a blanket in the sun – or get the whole family active with a game of Viking tag or other garden games.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the closed road Delta, a path leads directly down to the water. Hemmet Beach is a good, child-friendly place to swim, and the shallow water makes it an at­tra­cti­ve spot for surfing for both beginners and ex­pe­ri­en­ced surfers. If you prefer to stay on dry land, there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for hiking and cycling in the local area – ex­pe­ri­en­ced cyclists can even cycle all the way around Ringkøbing Fjord if you are looking for a holiday challenge. If you want to alternate swimming in the fjord with a dip in the North Sea, you can take the lovely drive to Ny­min­de­gab Beach, and on the way home you can stop at Bork Harbour to eat ice cream or have a cool drink at one of the re­stau­rants by the harbour. You can also quickly do your shopping on the way, as there is a well-stocked su­per­mar­ket in Hemmet.
