Modern Spa Holiday Home from 2019 in Scenic Saltum
House-ID: BL1650It is a true pleasure to spend your holiday in this newly built spa holiday home, beautifully located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the stunning nature of Saltum.
Welcome inside
The holiday home was built in 2019 with a living roof and a beautiful dark façade, complemented by large window sections. This allows plenty of natural light to fill the interior while also providing lovely, open views of the surrounding greenery. The ceilings are high, creating a pleasant sense of space and excellent acoustics.
Throughout the house, the interior design is modern and stylish, and the light colour scheme contributes to the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Even the two bathrooms are elegantly designed, and one of them features both a spa and a sauna, allowing you to treat yourselves to one or two relaxing wellness evenings.
The layout also includes four inviting bedrooms (all bedside lamps include USB charging) with large double beds (2 x 90 cm x 200 cm). Finally, there is the living area, where a beautiful and very well-equipped kitchen is integrated with a lovely lounge. A fireplace feature creates a natural and elegant division of the space – and you can enjoy the sight of the flames from both the dining area and the sofa corner.
For the youngest guests, the house is equipped with a high chair, travel cot and changing table.
Enjoy life outside
You will of course also enjoy the peaceful and scenic surroundings while relaxing on the 58 m² covered terrace. The wooden terrace is raised and – in addition to the 58 m² covered area – extends all the way around the house. There are even several covered sections where you can find shade or shelter when the evening dew sets in.
The holiday home is situated on a very large natural plot (2717 m²) – supporting biodiversity – and offers open views of a protected nature area where hares, pheasants, foxes and deer roam. Just 100 metres from the house, a direct path leads to the beach and a small stream. For the youngest guests there are sand shovels, small buckets, a kubb game and more.
If you feel like starting the day with an outdoor shower or simply rinsing off salt water or sand, you can do so under the holiday home’s outdoor shower.
An Orbis VIARIS UNI BT2 charging station for electric cars has been installed (22 kW, up to 23 A, 7-pole). There is also an outdoor socket that allows charging with a standard emergency charger. Private parking space for three cars is available directly at the house.
Get up close to the local attractions
Tølhøj is a small, quiet cul-de-sac that connects to small roads and paths, making it easy to explore the beautiful local area on foot.
The beach is only about 1450 metres away, where you can gaze out over the mighty North Sea – an impressive sight in all kinds of weather. When the summer sun shines, it is the perfect place for a refreshing swim, as the beach at Saltum is known as one of the best bathing beaches in Europe.
The house is also close to the protected area Lille Norge, where you can enjoy long walks in peaceful and scenic surroundings.
Fårup Sommerland, which has several times been named Denmark’s best amusement park and offers more than 60 rides along with Denmark’s largest Aquapark, is only a short drive away and a fantastic destination for both children and adults.
Blokhus and Løkken offer a wide range of activities, artisans, art galleries, shops and restaurants.
In the local area you can also play padel or golf, go horseback riding on Icelandic horses, canoe on the Ryå river, fly kites on the beach or catch fish at the Løkken or Blokhus fishing parks.
You can also complete the Tranum–Fosdal–Lien hiking route – an 11 km hilly trail featuring babbling streams, deep ravines and spectacular sea views. The route is certified as a Premium Hiking Trail and is well signposted. Toilets are available along the route – remember to bring provisions.
Personal recommendation from the homeowners
This holiday home is a hidden gem with a unique location – set back from the road in the middle of unspoiled and wild nature and overlooking a protected natural area where heather, bell heather and bog bilberries thrive alongside a wide variety of butterfly species. A deep and idyllic tranquillity surrounds the house, inviting you to relax and enjoy the moment.
The home’s mindfulness-inspired interior design promotes calm and presence through conscious choices of furniture, colours and materials, helping to reduce stress. Benches are placed around the house so you can sit outside and enjoy the sunrise or a quiet rainy day along the house’s covered, south-facing side.
The house overlooks beautiful nature where you can follow small paths through the unique landscape, listening to the distant sound of the sea and the song of the yellowhammer. Here you will find wide sandy beaches, high dunes, rolling Ice Age landscapes and forest areas.
We recommend a hike along path 100, down to the sea via path 18 and back via path 17 – a beautiful route through the scenic area of Lille Norge with stunning views of the sea and coastline, home to a rich variety of plant species adapted to the harsh dune landscape.
