In this section, you’ll also find the bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The kitchen sits at the heart of the home and opens directly onto a long dining area with chairs and a bench along the window – a great spot for shared meals, board games, drawings, or other indoor acti­vi­ties. The adjoining living room features a sofa, a wood-burning stove, and a TV – creating a cozy hideaway for family re­laxa­tion. The house also has wireless internet, so feel free to bring your tablet or laptop.

The large natural plot has a lovely lawn with plenty of space for play, ball games, or sun­bat­hing. Sur­ro­un­ded by trees that provide great shelter, the property feels won­der­ful­ly private. On the south-facing terrace, you can enjoy sunny days, peaceful evenings, and all the simple pleasures of Danish summer life. It’s the perfect place for outdoor dining, reading a good book in the shade, or simply soaking up the fresh North Sea air.


Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Rødhus is known for its raw and unspoiled natural beauty, with dunes, beach grass, heather and large forest areas cris­scros­sed by excellent walking and cycling trails. From the holiday home, it’s just two ki­lo­metres to Rødhus Beach – wide, white and inviting at all times of the year. Be sure to visit the charming little Rødhus Church and some of the local art galleries in the area. In nearby Blokhus, you can spend a fun day at the large sub­tro­pi­cal water park, enjoy a good meal at one of the many re­stau­rants, or browse the shops. The city of Aalborg offers museums, a zoo and cosy pe­de­stri­an streets, and if you’re a flower ent­hu­si­ast, Jesperhus Flower Park is well worth the drive.
