The house was built in 1948, and although it has been carefully renovated over the years, it has fortu­na­te­ly retained its original charm. This is a classic Danish holiday home with wooden paneling on the walls, a wood-burning stove, and large mullioned windows, along with white curtains that gently flutter in the breeze when you open the terrace door on warm summer days. The furniture fits perfectly into the rooms, and even the bathroom is designed in a bright and airy style. The layout is very practical, with the bathroom and two bedrooms gathered in their own separate section. Once the children have gone to bed, the adults can still talk, listen to music, and enjoy them­sel­ves in the living area, where the living room and kitchen are combined. In addition, the house has a basement level with one extra bedroom and a toilet.

Enjoy life outside
When the weather is warm and inviting, it is ideal to move meals and holiday life outdoors. There are many sunny and cozy spots to choose from, as the house is sur­ro­un­ded by no fewer than four terraces. You can also walk down the steps and find a small, secluded sunny spot among rosehip bushes and pine trees on the 2,000 m² natural plot. The property also features a shelter, offering the po­s­si­bi­li­ty of spending the night or simply enjoying time under the open sky.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Poppelvej is a small, closed road, so there is only limited traffic near your private oasis. If you are in the mood for ice cream cones and a lively holiday at­mosp­he­re, you can take a short walk to the center of Blokhus, and if you want to go swimming, you can continue on to Blokhus Beach. The North Sea is just 900 meters away, and if the weather calls for an indoor swim, Blokhus Holiday Center’s water park is also close by. Blokhus Klit­plan­ta­ge is nearby as well, including Gateway Blokhus, which offers a nature play­gro­und, fitness equipment, barbecue areas, and much more. In Hune, you can visit at­tra­ctions such as the Sculpture Park and Anne Just’s Garden, and if you are traveling with children, it is an obvious choice to spend a day or two at Fårup Som­mer­land amusement park.
