Lovely holiday home in a fantastic location – sur­ro­un­ded by nature on a large, scenic plot

Welcome inside

Here, you get that true holiday-home feeling from the moment you step inside. The property consists of two separate buildings. In the main house, you’ll find a charming living and dining area with beautiful views of the dune plan­ta­tion – one of the most at­tra­cti­ve areas in Saltum. The house is decorated in a cosy, tra­di­tio­nal style, and from the dining area you can step straight out onto the lovely west-facing terrace, where a well-placed windscre­en lets you enjoy the outdoors even when the westerly wind is brisk.

The kitchen is fairly new but kept in the same charming style as the rest of the home. It’s easy to fall in love with the at­mosp­he­re here. Despite the classic summer-house character, you’ll have all modern con­ve­ni­en­ces, including a dis­hwas­her, washing machine, satellite TV with Scan­di­navi­an and German channels, and free WiFi – so feel free to bring your tablet or laptop along.

The bathroom is again cosy and tra­di­tio­nal­ly styled, with a shower, toilet, and the house’s washing machine. In the main house, you’ll find one bedroom with a double bed. There is an ad­di­tio­nal private room belonging to the owner, which is not available for guests.

Connected to the garage – and accessed by a staircase from the main house – you’ll find the large annex. Here are two bedrooms, each with a single bed, and a bathroom situated between the rooms. It’s an ideal setup for bringing teenagers on holiday, with room for privacy as well as to­get­her­ness.

Enjoy life outside

The house sits on a large natural plot, just 750 metres from the mag­ni­fi­cent Saltum Beach. Here you can enjoy re­fres­hing swims, long walks, and plenty of fun on the sand. Saltum Beach is one of the area’s finest, typically quieter than the beaches in Løkken and Blokhus.

After a dip in the sea or a day on the beach, you can rinse off salt and sand under the practical outdoor shower before heading back inside. The house also features two lovely terraces, one of which is covered – so no matter the weather, you can sit outside with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and feel com­ple­te­ly immersed in nature.

Close to the house, you can easily find a dune top where you can sit and enjoy the mag­ni­fi­cent sight of the sun setting over the North Sea.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

This is one of the best locations in the entire area. The house is almost built into the dune landscape, and together with the outdoor spaces, it’s hard to imagine a better setting. The sur­ro­un­dings offer great op­portu­ni­ties for hiking and cycling, and the wide sandy beach is perfect for acti­vi­ties like flying kites.

If you’re looking for more action or family ex­pe­ri­en­ces, the famous amusement park Fårup Som­mer­land – voted Denmark’s best several times – is only a few ki­lo­metres away. One day is rarely enough to explore it all.
