If you dream of a holiday sur­ro­un­ded by beautiful scenery and within easy reach of the North Sea, the forest, and the town, this holiday home is an excellent choice. What makes the house par­ti­cu­lar­ly unique is that when you rent it, you also gain access to the large bunker on which the house is built.

Welcome inside
The holiday home is con­structed using top-quality materials throug­hout and clearly reflects the owner’s strong sense of quality and cosy at­mosp­he­re. The interior features many charming details such as curved walls, a har­moni­ous mix of different materials, and a clever use of the home’s many nooks and angles. The rooms are arranged on different levels but are beau­ti­ful­ly connected by steps and open archways, allowing you to be together even when you are not in the same area of the house.

The property ac­com­moda­tes up to six adults and offers three bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a kitchen, a dining room, and a TV lounge. There are wood-burning stoves in both the living room and the dining room, and the house is fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could wish for, including a dis­hwas­her, washing machine, tumble dryer, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV. These are truly excellent and highly recom­men­ded sur­ro­un­dings for both family holidays and romantic getaways.

Enjoy life outside
Beneath the house is a bunker and firing tower that were used during the Second World War. The owner has carefully renovated the structure and made it ac­ces­sib­le to guests. Inside the cool, un­der­gro­und bunker, you will find a toilet, and in the firing tower you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the at­mosp­he­re of history with in­for­ma­ti­ve ex­pla­na­tions about the tower and the bunker’s role during the war. It is a genuinely fa­sci­nat­ing and memorable ex­pe­ri­en­ce.

An outdoor shower has also been installed at the bunker entrance.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The outdoor fa­ci­li­ties are equally im­pres­si­ve. The at­mosp­he­re is almost Me­di­ter­ra­ne­an, with pots, plants, and flowers creating a warm and inviting setting. With both open and covered terraces as well as a cosy lounge corner, you can always find the perfect spot to relax with a good book, a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine.

Location

With just 300 metres to Blokhus’ wide, sandy beach, you are sure to enjoy plenty of re­fres­hing dips in the North Sea during your holiday. If the weather is less coo­pe­ra­ti­ve on a par­ti­cu­lar day, guests staying in this house have access to the water park at Blokhus Fe­ri­e­cen­ter, which is pra­cti­cal­ly located in the backyard. The centre also offers a fitness and wellness area, with access available for purchase at the reception.

Blokhus town centre is only a few hundred metres away, so re­stau­rants, ice cream cafés, and the many charming shops around the main square are always within easy reach – welcome to one of Denmark’s very best holiday desti­na­tions.
