Either way, you’ll have plenty of op­portu­ni­ty to dive into a good book on the sofa or take your time preparing delicious meals in the open kitchen. The first-floor bedroom offers a beautiful view of the dune landscape, and if the weather calls for it, you can boost both warmth and hygge by lighting the wood-burning stove down­stairs.

Enjoy life outside

From the first-floor living area, you can step out onto a covered balcony to enjoy fresh air and the stunning natural scenery. The terrace en­viron­ment around the house is also a lovely spot: it is won­der­ful­ly private and faces south, so if you want to soak up the sun among the fragrant pines while listening to birdsong, all you need to do is find a garden chair and settle in. And after returning from a day of outings or beach trips, you can even prepare dinner outdoors thanks to the house’s barbecue.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Grinden is a small, closed road with just a handful of summer houses. Nature stretches out in every direction, and only 500 metres away you’ll find the North Sea and the beautiful Rødhus Beach. It’s a fantastic base if you dream of filling your holiday with hiking, cycling or peaceful moments by the water – and Blokhus Klit­plan­ta­ge is also within easy walking distance, perfect for a picnic in the forest. You’ll also have con­ve­ni­ent access to a riding centre and the nearest golf course, and it’s easy to reach the charming holiday at­mosp­he­re of Hune or Blokhus for shopping or dining.
