You’re in for a true nature paradise, when you choose this holiday home for your next getaway. The house is situated on the dunes in Rødhus, just a short distance from both forest and beach, and with only a few neig­h­bours, the sur­ro­un­dings are com­ple­te­ly private.

Welcome inside
Inside, the house, built in 1979, offers a well-fun­ctio­ning layout for four people. There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with a three-quarter double bed, and a third with a bunk bed. In addition, you’ll find a bathroom with a shower and a living room with an in­te­gra­ted kitchen. As mentioned, you have plenty of distance from the neig­h­bours—but it’s quite likely that you’ll spot deer, hares, or other wildlife passing by while you relax indoors. The wildlife in the area is abundant, and the large windows provide unin­ter­rup­ted views of the peaceful natural sur­ro­un­dings. The house fits perfectly into the natural idyll with its classic interior, featuring a vaulted ceiling and untreated wooden wall trims. When the wood-burning stove is lit—or when the terrace door is left slightly open, depending on the season—the charm of the holiday home and its cosy at­mosp­he­re is simply at its peak.

Enjoy life outside
Outside, a covered terrace is located at the southeast end of the house, and if you prefer to sit under the open sky, you can relax on the south side of the property. The private plot measures a full 2,500 m², allowing marram grass, twisted pine trees, and other natural ve­ge­ta­tion to grow freely. To the north, the dunes open up into the landscape, and all neig­h­bouring houses are di­scre­et­ly po­si­tio­ned, so it really is nature that dominates the area.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the dunes, you have easy access to both forest and beach. Just a few hundred metres away, you can enter Blokhus Klit­plan­ta­ge, which invites long walks and cycling trips. A visit to the North Sea and the beautiful Rødhus Beach is also within walking distance. Cars are allowed on the beach, meaning if you want to bring a cooler, a sunshade, or beach games for a swim, you can drive directly onto the wide sandy beach. This also makes it possible to take a specta­cu­lar drive along the coast—for example, to the holiday town of Blokhus, just a few ki­lo­metres further north.
