If you’re planning your next family holiday in Northern Jutland, this house is a great choice. With excellent indoor fa­ci­li­ties and a beautiful natural plot, eve­ryt­hing is set for re­laxa­tion and quality time together.

Interior

The house is large and spacious, with the open-plan kitchen, dining area, and living room forming the central hub. Here, the family can gather for almost any activity – from cooking and card games to relaxing in front of the TV. The large windows provide plenty of natural light, and the high-quality materials and fine details complete the cosy at­mosp­he­re. The bedrooms offer com­fortab­le beds and ample wardrobe space, and in the large bathroom you can enjoy a bit of pampering with a spa bath and sauna. The house is also child-friendly, offering a cot and highchair as well as the op­portu­ni­ty to wash and dry clothes during your stay.

Outdoor area

The large natural plot is sur­ro­un­ded by trees, making it plea­sant­ly sheltered from the sometimes tricky west wind. The lawn is big enough for ball games, and for the little ones there is both a sandbox and swings. At the front of the house there is a small west-facing terrace, and at the back—ac­ces­sib­le from the living room and dining area—you’ll find a large, partially covered terrace with space for both outdoor dining and sun­bat­hing.

Location

Bag Højen is located in a larger holiday home area in Hune, a couple of ki­lo­metres from Blokhus. You can drive the short distance to the beach, but in summer it’s just as easy and quick to follow the path system that leads directly to the North Sea. In Hune you’ll find a bakery, a fish shop, and a bicycle rental. Children may enjoy making their own candles at Blokhus Lys, while adults can visit Anne Just’s Garden in full bloom. Behind Hune lies Fårup Som­mer­land, Denmark’s best amusement park, with roller coasters, carousels, river rafting, and a large outdoor water park. And if you’re in the mood for a bit of city life, Aalborg is only a short 30-minute drive away.
