Fantastic location – only 300 metres to the sea and close to the town
House-ID: BV104Idyllic holiday cottage 300 metres from the beach. Thatched-roof rural idyll combined with luxurious and comfortable furnishings. Does that sound like a holiday cottage to your taste? Then you should take a closer look at this lovely holiday home, located just a few hundred metres from the North Sea.
Welcome inside
With its dark wooden façade, white-paned windows, thatched roof and raised terrace, it is already clear from the outside that this is no ordinary holiday home. Indoors, the charm is also turned up high, as the rooms are very cosily furnished with an interior that perfectly matches the rustic architecture. The house, which was built in 2006, is at the same time full of luxurious living solutions: for example, one of the two bathrooms is equipped with a whirlpool bath and sauna, and in the kitchen you will find all kinds of household appliances, so you do not have to compromise on cooking. As a less visible but convenient detail, there is underfloor heating in parts of the house, supplemented by both a heat pump and a wood-burning stove. The latter is located in the kitchen-dining area, which is a wonderful, high-ceilinged living space with an open connection to a raised living room. Finally, the holiday cottage also offers three bedrooms with a total of six sleeping places.
Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you can step directly out onto the raised terrace, which faces south and offers views over the house’s large and gently undulating dune plot. If you prefer to sit at ground level, you can move down to the paved terrace area, which also enjoys good sun conditions. Part of the terrace is covered, and in addition to comfortable garden furniture, a barbecue is available, so you can prepare meals under the open sky. On the plot, there are play facilities for the youngest holiday guests, and the whole family can compete in pétanque on the purpose-built court.
Get up close to the local attractions
If you are familiar with Blåvand, you have probably noticed the old rescue station with its Dannebrog-adorned gate. The holiday cottage is located right behind the rescue station – a good indication that the North Sea is close by. If you walk down your own private road and continue along the paths, it is just 300 metres to the beach and the open sea. At the same time, you also have a short walking distance to the town centre with supermarkets, small shops and eateries. In Blåvand, the North Sea is undoubtedly the biggest attraction, but it is also recommended to experience Blåvand Zoo, the surrounding heathland and the exciting Tirpitz Museum, which was designed by Bjarke Ingels.
