The house offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms – one with a toilet – as well as a sauna that adds extra comfort on cooler days. The interior is simple, bright, and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home from the moment you arrive. A fan heater, wood-burning stove, and electric heating ensure a com­fortab­le indoor climate all year round, whether your stay takes place in the height of summer or during a quieter and cooler season.

Outside, the holiday home is set on a large plot with plenty of space for both re­laxa­tion and outdoor acti­vi­ties. The short distance of just 200 meters to the beach makes it easy to start or end the day by the water, and the area around the house is cha­ra­cte­rized by peaceful sur­ro­un­dings and beautiful nature.

In March 2026, a brand-new terrace was built, giving the outdoor area a sig­ni­fi­cant upgrade. Here you can enjoy the sun from early morning, gather the family for meals under the open sky, or simply lean back and relax with views of the garden. The terrace works as a natural extension of the house and offers even more op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy outdoor living when the weather is at its best.

The property is fenced, allowing dogs to run freely and safely around the garden while the rest of the family enjoys time outdoors. This makes the house espe­ci­al­ly suitable for guests who want to bring their four-legged friend on holiday.

You will also find a cozy fire pit on the property, perfect for evenings with bread on sticks, warm blankets, and long con­ver­sa­tions by the glow of the flames. It adds an extra dimension to the outdoor space and makes it easy to create small holiday memories in every season. The large garden also provides space for play, re­laxa­tion, and cozy moments, and with good paths in the area, Nordals is perfect to explore on foot or by bike.

Nordals and the sur­ro­un­ding area offer a wide range of ex­pe­ri­en­ces that make your holiday both varied and memorable. From the holiday home, you have easy access to some of Southern Denmark’s most beautiful landsca­pes, historic sights, and popular at­tra­ctions – all within a com­fortab­le distance.

Just 200 meters from the house lies Købingsmark Beach, a peaceful and family-friendly beach perfect for swimming, walking, and relaxing by the water. Nordals as a whole is cha­ra­cte­rized by forests, open landsca­pes, and small trails that make the area ideal for hiking and cycling. A little further south you will find Nørreskoven, one of Denmark’s longest coastal forests, where deer, birdlife, and old oak trees create a very special at­mosp­he­re. In the town of Nordborg you will find several su­per­mar­kets, re­stau­rants, and small local shops – perfect for everyday needs.

One of the area’s biggest at­tra­ctions is Universe Science Park in Nordborg, an ex­pe­ri­en­ce park where children and adults can explore science, te­ch­no­lo­gy, and energy in a playful way. Here you can try eve­ryt­hing from VR ex­pe­ri­en­ces to segways and in­te­r­a­cti­ve ex­pe­ri­ments.

If you are more in­te­r­e­sted in culture and history, several historic hig­hlights are within a short driving distance, including Sønderborg Castle, Dybbøl Mill, and the Gendarm Path – one of Denmark’s most beautiful hiking routes. You can also visit small local workshops and farm shops, such as “Lys i Laden”, where you can make your own candles and ex­pe­ri­en­ce tra­di­tio­nal crafts­mans­hip up close.

A trip to Sønderborg (about 25 km away) offers shopping, cafés, a beautiful harbor promenade, and a lively town at­mosp­he­re where culture, ga­stro­no­my, and fjord views come together.

If you wish to explore a little further, you can visit Gråsten Palace and its gardens, Au­gu­sten­borg Palace and art center, the cozy harbor en­viron­ments of Høruphav and Skovby, as well as the Kegnæs peninsula, known for its beaches and peaceful villages – all within an easy driving distance.
