Description
The holiday home is located in an established holiday area with a short distance to the area's supremely best bathing beach and contains well-equipped kitchen in open connection with dining and living room with wood stove and heat pump and access to large partially covered wooden terrace, nice double bedroom and closet space, room with two single beds and closets and finally bathroom with shower, underfloor heating and not least a sauna. The property's last two beds are located in the annex, which is located right next to the house. The garden is primarily laid out with grass and invites to play and ball games (large football goal exists).
Shopping can be done locally in the area's mini market with grill bar (seasonal) or in Skovby, which has a Brugs, a fantastic baker and not least an inn known for "Stone Age Man's Livret" (steaks fried on hot stones). If the weather is right, it is recommended to spend the day on the delicious sandy beach or you can take a trip out into the beautiful Alsic nature (bikes can be brought along). If there is holiday time in excess, consider a visit to the experience park UNIVERSE or a trip to the history center 1864 - then you can at the same time look around a bit in lovely Sønderborg.
The area
Skovmose is a very nice holiday home area situated near Skovby with shopping facilities and a restaurant. The child-friendly sandy beach near Skovmose is among the best beaches on Als. There are many attractions in Southern Jutland. Denmark´s large attraction, the science park Universe is situated on Als. The castle in Sønderborg is also worth a visit as well as the idyllic harbour area with many cafés and restaurants.
