Words fall over each other when descri­bing this very special house. Here, history, charm and fun­ctio­na­li­ty meet in a rare whole. The 110 m² are well-appointed and well thought out, with a wealth of quirky details that give the home per­so­na­li­ty - without com­pro­mi­sing on comfort.

Built in 1760, it feels like stepping into a time warp where soul and aut­hen­ti­ci­ty are preserved, while the house appears beautiful, well-main­tai­ned and with a sur­pri­sing­ly good ceiling height.

On the ground floor, you are welcomed in an entrance hall that opens up to a large, bright kitchen-dining room – the home's natural gathering point. From here there is access to a spacious living room with a cozy and efficient pellet stove and direct access to the garden. A charming chamber with room for a double bed and a lovely bathroom with shower complete the floor.

On the 1st floor – which was thor­oug­hly renovated in 2018 – you will find a large, open bedroom with an im­pres­si­ve bathroom. Here, attention has been paid to the details: chan­de­li­er, fre­e­stan­ding bathtub and an at­mosp­he­re that invites peace and pampering.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoor life is an ex­pe­ri­en­ce in itself. The courtyard is a small oasis with several terraces, lush trees and bushes that create both shelter and at­mosp­he­re. Here the sun is perfect, so you can easily enjoy long summer days and warm evenings - whether it's around the barbecue or in the hammock.

The house is located in the middle of one of the cosiest thatched streets in Ommel – a place cha­ra­cte­rized by presence and community. There is a good neig­h­bour­ly re­la­tions­hip here, and around the resi­dents' house there is an active and en­ter­pri­sing resi­dents' as­so­ci­a­tion, which creates life all year round with events and acti­vi­ties.

With a few minutes' walk you reach the sea, nature, a beautiful beach and not least two beautiful harbours. At the same time, it is only about 3 km to the lively urban en­viron­ment in Marstal - a perfect balance between tranqui­li­ty and ex­pe­ri­en­ces.
