Welcome to a rare holiday home in the heart of the fairytale town of Ærøskøbing: a beautiful, carefully restored 19th-century townhouse, situated directly by the sea. Here, you stay in the very first row to the water with unob­structed views of the waves, the horizon, and the ever-changing light.

The house is filled with history, soul, and authentic Ærø at­mosp­he­re and has been restored with great respect for its original style. It is a place where the pace naturally slows down, and where both tranquil­li­ty and the view are allowed to take centre stage.

Inviting Spaces Designed for To­get­her­ness
In the entrance hall, you are welcomed by the beautiful original staircase leading to the first floor. The ground floor offers a cozy living room with TV and radio, an at­mosp­he­ric dining room, and a fun­ctio­nal kitchen equipped with a stove, mini oven, microwave, and re­fri­ge­ra­tor with freezer com­part­ment – well suited for slow holiday mornings and dinners that linger.
The bathroom is kept in the house’s original style and includes a shower. In the rear building, you will find both a washing machine and a tumble dryer – practical and con­ve­ni­ent, even for longer stays.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. On the ground floor, there is also a room with a sofa bed for children, as well as a baby cot and a high chair for the youngest guests.

From the house, you have access to three wonderful terraces, a sunny courtyard, and a landsca­ped garden of ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 130 m², where holiday life naturally unfolds outdoors. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee with sea views and dine sheltered from the wind.

With direct access to the beach, you can walk from garden to sea in just a few steps – a rare luxury in the middle of town. Take a spon­ta­neous morning swim, enjoy an evening walk along the shoreline, or simply sit back and take in the view. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided, and of course, internet access is available whenever you wish to be online.
