Enjoy life outside
You can feel the closeness to nature on the terrace. The best way to start each new day is with a fresh cup of coffee or an extensive breakfast outdoors. While the children play in the open air in the afternoon, you can make yourself com­fortab­le on one of the sun loungers or treat yourself to a cosy warm bath in the Swedish hot tub. The birds singing in the treetops and the greenery all around create a wonderful backdrop. In the evening, you can round off a long, eventful day with a delicious meal from the barbecue in a cosy at­mosp­he­re. Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The area around Øer is known as a beautiful, child-friendly area with a rich variety of wildlife and birdlife. The at­tra­cti­ve beach is just a short walk from your holiday home. The Øer Maritme Ferieby holiday complex, where you can do your daily shopping in the summer months, is also within easy reach. Various hiking and fitness trails in the sur­ro­un­ding area invite you to get active. Mountain bikers can look forward to a fantastic 13-kilometre trail with varying degrees of dif­fi­culty. Just six ki­lo­metres separate your holiday home from the pi­c­tu­resque old town of Ebeltoft, which is famous for its numerous sights. In the town's harbour, for example, your family will come across the Glas­mu­se­et, one of the leading museums for modern glass art. Cosy pubs and fis­h­mon­gers in the harbour area also look forward to your visit. In the city centre, you will be greeted by what is probably the most famous sight - the old town hall ‘Det Gamle Rådhus’. Every year, countless couples from all over the world get married here in a historic setting. In the summer months, the famous night watchman awaits you at the town hall every evening at 8 and 9 pm, looking forward to pa­trol­ling the dark alleyways with you while singing.

A jeep safari in the popular Ree Park promises exci­te­ment for young and old alike, where you can get up close to wild animals. Another great excursion desti­na­tion is the largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Som­mer­land, which you can reach by car within half an hour.
