Welcome inside
Inside the holiday home, you’re greeted by warm wooden interiors and a layout that captures the essence of a true Danish summer cottage. The wood-burning stove in the living room creates a natural gathering point, perfect for unwinding with a cup of coffee or enjoying a quiet evening with the family after a long day at the beach. The kitchen and living room are open plan, making it easy to spend quality time together – whether cooking, playing games, or chatting about the day’s ad­ven­tu­res. Large windows invite the outdoors in and provide a beautiful view of the dune landscape, which almost feels like part of the décor. The moment you step inside, you’ll feel your holiday has truly begun – and a sense of peace will settle in.

The house offers two beautiful wooden terraces – one facing southwest and partially covered, allowing you to enjoy outdoor life in both sunshine and light rain. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful morning with birdsong and fresh sea air or for gathering around the barbecue for dinner in the glow of the evening sun. The garden is sheltered by the dunes, creating a private and safe en­viron­ment for both play and re­laxa­tion – even for the family dog, who will love the freedom and all the new scents. The light, the breeze, and the special at­mosp­he­re of the North Sea are ever-present here – and you’ll quickly feel connected to the sur­ro­un­ding nature.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
With its location in the first dune row and just 50 meters from Vrist Beach, it’s easy to fill your days with fresh sea air, walks on the beach, and dips in the waves. The wide sandy beach offers both tranquil­li­ty and activity – whether you want to swim, build sandcast­les, or simply enjoy the sight of the waves and a beautiful sunset. From Vrist, it’s easy to explore the area by train, as the local station is close to the house and connects you to both Lemvig and Thyborøn. In Thyborøn, you can visit Jyllands Akvariet, go on a seal safari or explore the quirky Sneg­le­hu­set, while Lemvig tempts with cosy shops and a vibrant harbour. When the day draws to a close, it’s a joy to return to the calm and comfort of a holiday home nestled in nature and close to the sea.
