In the popular summerhouse area at Saksild beach is this lovely and bright summerhouse for 6 adults and a dog. With only 350 meters to the beach, the house is perfect for great experiences at the East coast of Jutland.

Interior

The house is welcoming with large windows facing the open garden. The common room is the living room and kitchen / dining room, where you gather to enjoy your meals. In the middle of the living room is a wood-burning stove and the sofa corner is next to it. You can turn on the TV, which has a TV package with Danish, Scandinavian and German TV channels. In addition, there is also a Chomecast, which makes it possible to stream your own content via phone and the free WiFi. In addition to the wood-burning stove, the house is heated by a heat pump and electric radiators.

The dining table is centrally located in the kitchen/living room by the large windows and the garden door facing the terrace. There is plenty of light from outside in the open kitchen/living room, which has several comfortable armchairs and snugs. The living room appear bright and modern and at the same time cozy. The living room is also the first room you enter from the entrance of the house. In the entrance there is plenty of storage space and it is a lovely practical room to enter.

The kitchen is only divided from the living room by a half wall, so you can spend time together whether you are in the kitchen or sitting in the armchair with a good book. From the kitchen, there's also a two-part door out onto a tiled terrace, so it's easy to get some fresh air in. The kitchen has all the necessary facilities, including an oven, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer.

Adjacent to the kitchen/living room is another cosy corner with a sofa bed. From this corner there is direct access to a terrace via a double glass door providing great light into the room. From this door and terrace there are a few steps to the annex, which is a lovely extra room that can be used in the summer months. The annex is nicely furnished with wooden floors and walls as well as a wardrobe and double bed. There is a double glass door, so it is possible to open the annex to the terrace outside.

The two bedrooms of the main house both have double beds and wardrobe space. The master bedroom also has its own access to a partially covered terrace, so you can step right outside when the day begins. The bathroom is next to the bedrooms, and is a smaller, bright, and new bathroom with light tiles. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outdoor
The summerhouse has a total of three south-facing terraces, with access from the kitchen/living room, bedroom and annex. One terrace is partially covered, and an awning allows for more shade on the terrace in front of the living room. This means more opportunities to find shelter or sun when sitting outside in the garden furniture to enjoy your morning coffee or meals. The house and terraces are slightly raised above the open garden, which is bordered by a hedge, but at the same time there is a relaxed summerhouse environment.

The garden has a small lawn and is fenced, which makes it suitable for taking your dog on holiday in the house. In front of the house is a practical driveway and parking facilities.

Location
With only 350 meters to Saksild beach, the house is perfect to experience one of East Jutland's best beaches. Saksild is a quite area with buzzling life in the summer, as you will find clear, shallow water and small waves, making it a very child-friendly beach. There are toilet facilities at the beach, and you can rent paddleboards and kayaks at the Beach Shop or visit the Ice House.

The Odder coast offers beautiful beaches and atmospheric harbour towns. Visit Norsminde, for example, which has a cosy harbour and a reputable restaurant, Norsminde Kro. In the area around Saksild there are also good walking routes, including a Heart-path near Dyngby.

Just 4 kilometers from the summerhouse is Fru Møllers Mølleri, which is a restaurant, farm shop and ice cream dairy. It's always worth a visit, and you can get local delicacies you can enjoy in the summerhouse.
A 10-minute drive from the house is Odder, a lively town with several restaurants and a pleasant pedestrian street. There is also a bowling alley and swimming pool if the weather is not suitable for outdoor activities.

Half an hour's drive from the summerhouse is Aarhus, which has various shopping opportunities, restaurants, and cultural sights such as the living museum, Den Gamle By, Tivoli Friheden and Moesgaard Museum. The summer house is therefore close to both the city and the beach.
