We look forward to welcoming you to this modern sum­mer­hou­se, just 200 meters from a beautiful sandy beach. The house is bright and con­tem­porary, offering the ideal setting for your vacation, with plenty of space and out­stan­ding amenities.

Welcome inside

As soon as you step into the house, you’ll notice that every detail has been con­si­de­red to ensure an ex­cep­tio­nal holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ce. The sum­mer­hou­se is light and inviting, with cozy living areas perfect for quality time together.

The heart of the house is the open-plan kitchen and living area, where you can cook, dine, or relax on the sofa, all while staying connected with others. The dining table is in­te­gra­ted with the kitchen, featuring a large kitchen island that provides ample space to prepare meals together. Large windows along the kitchen and dining area let in plenty of light and offer a view of the private garden.

Adjacent to the dining area is the living room, with a cozy sofa corner that’s perfect for re­laxa­tion. Here, you can gather to watch a movie or simply enjoy relaxed moments together. The com­fortab­le fur­nis­hin­gs create the perfect setting for so­ci­a­lizing.

In addition to the kitchen-living area and living room, the main house includes three bedrooms, a practical entryway, and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds with private bathrooms. The third bedroom, located next to the kitchen, provides storage space and a sofa bed.

In another part of the house, there are two large, beau­ti­ful­ly furnished bedrooms with private bathrooms. These rooms are bright and ta­ste­ful­ly designed with a focus on comfort and fun­ctio­na­li­ty. Each room has a sofa bed, offering extra space for children during the holiday.

The house sits on a large lot in a quiet, closed gravel road. While you’re in Ballen, close to re­stau­rants and the lively harbor area, you can enjoy your vacation in private and peaceful sur­ro­un­dings. The garden is fenced, and the large lawn offers plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for play and re­laxa­tion. On the southwest side of the house, there’s a wooden terrace running along the house and garden.

From the kitchen-living area, you have direct access to the terrace, making it easy to bring meals outside. A covered section of the terrace allows you to sit outside re­gard­less of the need for shade or shelter. When the sun shines over Samsø, you’ll always find a great spot in one of the sun loungers or at the com­fortab­le outdoor furniture.

Ballen is a popular holiday town with many re­stau­rants and a cozy harbor life during summer. There are small concerts and acti­vi­ties like crab fishing for the little ones. The town also boasts one of Samsø’s best sandy beaches, and if you prefer swimming from a jetty, there’s one nearby.

From Ballen, it’s only 5.5 ki­lo­me­ters to Samsø’s golf course, a beau­ti­ful­ly situated 18-hole course. Near the golf course lies the village of Besser, known for the charming café and shop, “Søster Sidevind.” In Besser, you’ll also find a lookout tower, offering views over the island’s eastern fields.

Just a few ki­lo­me­ters from the house, Samsø’s largest town, Tra­neb­jerg, offers good shopping options, specialty stores, Samsø Museum, and the tourist in­for­ma­tion center, where you can find more in­spira­tion for your holiday.

A trip to northern Samsø offers stunning natural scenery, and you shouldn’t miss a walk in Nordby Bakker. Here, you’ll find both short and long hiking trails through the beautiful Ice Age landscape, with views stret­ching to Tunø, Jutland, Zealand, and the Kattegat. When it’s time to eat, a visit to the charming and historic village of Nordby is recom­men­ded, where there are also excellent re­stau­rants and small shops with local products.
