Welcome inside
The holiday home is decorated in lovely light colours and oozes cosiness and a holiday at­mosp­he­re. The open-plan kitchen is the heart of the house, where you can gather and relax, cook and eat together. There's plenty of space in the kitchen for you to cook, but also to socialise with those seated on the sofa or at the dining table. The kitchen and living room are bright and cosy in a cottage style, so you'll instantly feel at home here.
In the cosy sofa corner, there's plenty of space for you to relax with a book or take a nap. If you're more into watching a good film, there's a wall-mounted TV. There's also a wood-burning stove next to the sofa for extra cosiness and warmth in the colder months. Next to the sofa is the dining table with chairs and benches where you can sit together and enjoy your meals. It's a cosy dining area that also works well with the rest of the living room and kitchen. The large windows also let in plenty of light and you have a great view out to the green garden.

The house has two good-sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The rooms have views out into the garden and down to the water. In the evening, you can leave the window slightly open and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. The bathroom is a smaller but fun­ctio­nal and bright bathroom. Next to the bathroom is a small back hallway, which can also be used as a second practical entrance hall.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is sur­ro­un­ded by bushes and trees, so you won't be disturbed when you're outside. Behind the house is a large garden, so you can relax in the green sur­ro­un­dings with the beach just 50 metres away. From the house, you can walk along a small path through the trees and bushes before heading straight down to the beach. Here you'll find some pallet furniture where you can sit and enjoy the view or watch the little ones swimming and playing on the beach. This holiday home offers a rare op­portu­ni­ty to stay so close to one of Samsø's best beaches, while enjoying complete privacy in the green garden.

The house also has a covered terrace with direct access from the kitchen/living room, so you can easily take your meals or morning coffee outside and enjoy the sur­ro­un­dings.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is located at Mårup Øster­strand, which is a good beach for swimming on the northern part of Samsø. The beach is just 50 metres from the holiday home, so you can easily walk straight down to the beach and take a dip.

Just 2 ki­lo­metres from the holiday home is Mårup, where there is a grocery store and where you can also rent bikes. It's great to explore Samsø by bike as the small villages and nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces are within easy reach. Mårup Harbour is on the opposite west-facing coast and is a peaceful little harbour town with a beautiful location.
Nordby is a charming and historic village with a street pond and the iconic bell tower where you can enjoy a tasty ice cream. In Nordby Bakker there are many beautiful hiking routes that you should not miss. Visit Bal­leb­jerg, the highest point on Samsø, from where there is a beautiful view of Jutland and Tunø.

The southern part of Samsø is also home to many cosy villages with local shops, cafés and galleries. Tra­neb­jerg is Samsø's largest town, where you'll also find several grocery stores, Samsø Museum and the island's tourist in­for­ma­tion centre. In the summer, the cosy harbour town of Ballen is bustling with life and has several re­stau­rants and shops.

On Samsø there are many ex­pe­ri­en­ces for both young and old, and you can always find beautiful places to visit or good food to eat.
