Holiday house in quiet area close to wonderful bathing beach

Here you can enjoy your summer holiday in quiet sur­ro­un­dings and close to a really good bathing beach, Lumsås south beach. This is a child-friendly sandy beach only a few hundred metres from the holiday house.

Welcome inside

The holiday house invites to many cosy hours together. Par­ti­cu­lar­ly the living room of the house is worth ac­cen­tu­at­ing. Here you have fantastic incident light from the big window setting, where you can sit and look out to the beautiful plot; you maybe even have the luck to spot a deer or two in the garden. You can gather in the living room in the evening for a board game and discuss the day and the following day’s events, or just put up your legs and enjoy a good book. The bedrooms in the house are well placed around the living room, so the early riser who is already brewing the coffee will not wake up the others. The space in the bathroom can be a bit tight around the washing machine and the shower cabin.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoor you can enjoy the silence on the beautiful plot with trees and bushes. On the big south-west facing terrace there is ample space to relax and enjoy the sun or to eat a nice lunch. When the day is waning and evening is ap­pro­a­ching, you may still enjoy some cosy hours out on the covered terrace, sheltered from the evening dew. If you want to go for a swim, the holiday house is only a short walk from a fantastic beach with the most wonderful water in the Sejerø Bay.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

The holiday house is located in a quiet holiday house area close to a good sandy beach. The route to the beach goes along Lumsås Strandvej and continues on the path leading to the sea. If you want a bit of an active day, we can recommend a tour to the lovely forest Sonnerup Skov, a big im­pres­si­ve forest facing the coastline by Kattegat. Worth a visit is also the cosy fishing village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde; here you may enjoy a delicious lunch and an ice cream. And you can buy fresh fish to bring home from the big im­pres­si­ve fis­h­mon­ger, offering a lot of de­li­ca­cies. If shopping is on your programme, you should visit Nykøbing Sjælland. Here you find a cosy pe­de­stri­an street with cafés and shops, and here you can also buy the daily amenities, if you do not prefer to shop in the su­per­mar­ket Rema 1000 in Lumsås.
