Welcome inside

When you step inside, you are met by a light and inviting house with elbow room and space for the big family. The open kitchen/family room makes it easy to gather for meals and social life, and here is plenty of room for cooking and cosy times. The late evenings you can enjoy in the soft sofas with a good book or board games for the entire family. From the living room you have access to a lovely open terrace, where you can enjoy the warm sunbeams and the fresh sea air. There are three nice bedrooms and a big bathroom with shower as well as a bathtub.

Enjoy life outside

The holiday house is located on a beautiful and sunny plot, ideal for outdoor acti­vi­ties, where the children can play ball or play the outdoor games that you brought along, while the adults are relaxing in the sun and maybe enjoying a glass of cool white wine. The covered terrace gives the po­s­si­bi­li­ty to enjoy the long summer evenings with barbecue meals and cosy times. The location close to the beach makes it easy to go for a swim morning, noon and evening. It is highly recom­men­ded taking a short walk to the beach by Kattegat; here you can watch the sun setting over Gniben by Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

The holiday house is located within walking distance to the beach by Kattegat. This coastline is known for its good angling po­s­si­bi­li­ties, and here the anglers are standing along the coast, hoping for a catch of sea trout, garfish or flatfish, and harpoon fishing is also popular here. If you want a little active day, we can recommend a tour in the beautiful forest Sonnerup Skov, a big, fine forest with many old beech trees facing the sea by Kattegat. The cosy little fishing village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde is also worth a visit. Here you can enjoy a good lunch and an ice cream, and you can also by freshly caught fish to bring home from the big fis­h­mon­ger, offering an abundance of de­li­ca­cies. If you have been to the beach for a dip in the blue waves, you can also buy your ice cream on your way back from the small ice cream stall close to the holiday house. If you want a shopping day, you should visit the market town Nykøbing Sjælland with a cosy pe­de­stri­an street with shops and cafés, and here you can also buy the daily amenities, if you are not doing so in the local su­per­mar­ket Rema 1000 in Lumsås.
