Welcome inside

Inside you are met by an extremely cosy at­mosp­he­re. The house is light and inviting and with good cosy corners. You will quickly drop into a lower gear and feel that vacation time is finally here. There is a lovely open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and three good bedrooms. In the living room you can be together with a good film or a board game, while you are enjoying a glass of the local wine from Ørnberg vineyard.

Enjoy life outside

From the beautiful terrace you can enjoy the wonderful summer evenings and also follow the town life, if you do not just prefer to sunbathe while planning the acti­vi­ties of the day. In the village there is a small fis­h­mon­ger with a fantastic selection of freshly caught fish. We can certainly also recommend trying the delicious buffet, if you do not want to prepare the meal your­sel­ves. The Tuna Fish Museum, telling the story about the good old days, where they landed plenty of tuna fish at Sjællands Odde, is also worth a visit.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

There are many po­s­si­bi­li­ties for taking a swim: from the beach in the village, at Gniben and on both sides of the isthmus. The coastline towards Kattegat is also known for its good angling spots; here anglers are standing along the coast, hoping for a catch of sea trout, garfish or cod, and also harpoon fishing is popular along the coast. If you want a little active day, we can recommend a trip in the beautiful Sonnerup forest, a big scenic forest with old beech trees directly facing the sea at Kattegat. Or what about a visit to the local church at Odden, where the naval hero Peter Willemoes is buried. Ørnberg vineyard that several times has been elected the best in Denmark is also worth a visit.
