Description
Cozy holiday home which is built in 1777 in the center of Marstal. The house is located just 100 meters from the port of Marstal and not far away is the old shipyard. The holiday house consists of an entrance hall, a small living room with stairs to the first floor, a cozy kitchen, a living room with dining area and a bathroom with washing machine. From the kitchen there is access to a small enclosed courtyard. On the 1st floor there is a bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. There are only 300 meters to the charming "Erik's tail" with the old beach houses on the dike, which also is a child-friendly beach. The area is also ideal for windsurfing and kayaking, etc. Please note that the ceilings and height of the doors are low.
The area
The old maritime town Marstal is Ærø´s southernmost town with a maritime atmosphere. In Marstal you find the small built-together houses, paved alleys and many shops and restaurants. Close to the town center there is the idyllic harbor with ferry harbor and the Maritime Museum. South of Marstal you can enjoy the beautiful beach “Eriks Hale” with small beach cottages and calm, child friendly water.
