Nykøbing Sjælland, the charming market town on the coast of Odsherred, offers a wonderful mix of cultural activities and nature experiences. Nykøbing Sjælland is known for its wealth of shopping options with lots of locally produced specialties and cosy cafés that make the city ideal for an excursion while on holiday. For the adventurous, a boat trip with the boat “Marianne F” is a must, and otherwise there is ample opportunity to rent bikes and explore the surroundings. The city’s public swimming pool and cinema provide entertainment regardless of the weather, and the lively pedestrian street is perfect for shopping and relaxation during and in between the high seasons.

Rørvig is a true holiday paradise in Odsherred, known for its idyllic, sandy beaches and magnificent nature. Visit the cosy harbour, where you can enjoy fresh and smoked fish or sail across to Hundested. Here you can let the young ones catch crab while the adults enjoy an ice cream. In Rørvig, you can go on lovely hikes around Korshage, where you will see migratory birds or experience the heath in full bloom. The coastline is perfect for fishing and offers protected places like Skansebugten for windsurfing and kayaking. You can also explore Højsandet and Sandflugtsplantagen, or collect mushrooms and wild garlic in the local forests.
