Svendborg is known as the most beautiful market town of Southern Funen. Ori­gi­nal­ly an old seafaring town, it offers a really special maritime at­mosp­he­re with seaviews and a harbour en­viron­ment buzzing with life. The old seafaring town oozes historic charm. You ex­pe­ri­en­ce the history of Southern Funen up close by paying the Latin Quarter, the oldest part of Svendborg, a visit. In the Latin Quarter, you can visit an abundance of stores and small local shops and sample local de­li­ca­cies in the re­stau­rants and cafés of the area. Svendborg town centre is also the hub of various musical events all year round, creating life in the streets to a degree.

Your summer cottage stay on Langeland is not complete without a trip to Ristinge. In Ristinge, you will find one of the best beaches in Denmark. The beach is known for its fine sand, dunes and clear water. There is plenty of room for sun­bat­hing, water play and sports acti­vi­ties such as windsur­fing and kayaking. The region is also known for the nature at­tra­ction Ristinge Klint (Ristinge Cliff), a place for you to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the beautiful scenery of Langeland. You will find several trails created along the cliff that are de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a hike. From here, you can enjoy the specta­cu­lar sea views and explore the wonderful flora on display in this area.

The beach town of Stampen is located south of Bornholm’s “capital”. A summer break in a holiday home here is packed with options. Stay in scenic sur­ro­un­dings by a lovely beach where you can splash in the water, relax with a good book, go for long walks, and whatever else you want. At the same time, the town of Rønne with art, culture, and history is nearby. Here, you will also find shops, galleries, eateries, bars, and much more. Rønne Harbour offers a wealth of different water sports for ad­ven­tu­rers to try. There is also a golf club nearby, so there is ample op­portu­ni­ty for an active holiday.

Just 15 km south of Aarhus you will find Ajstrup Strand, a natural holiday area near water and natural sur­ro­un­dings. The fine sandy beach in the area is a haven for ho­li­day­ma­kers and locals every summer. Here you will find fine sand, clear water and safe swimming. For these reasons, the beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, which proudly sways in the wind. Close to the area is Norsminde Havn, an extremely charming marina where you can stroll along the pier, enjoy the sight of small fishing boats and visit one of the many cosy eateries. You can get from Ajstrup Strand to Odder in under 20 minutes by car.
