The beach town of Stampen is located south of Bornholm’s “capital”. A summer break in a holiday home here is packed with options. Stay in scenic sur­ro­un­dings by a lovely beach where you can splash in the water, relax with a good book, go for long walks, and whatever else you want. At the same time, the town of Rønne with art, culture, and history is nearby. Here, you will also find shops, galleries, eateries, bars, and much more. Rønne Harbour offers a wealth of different water sports for ad­ven­tu­rers to try. There is also a golf club nearby, so there is ample op­portu­ni­ty for an active holiday.

North of Kolding, where the Little Belt narrows and bridges connect Jutland and Funen, you will find Fre­de­ri­cia. A historic hub with plenty of cultural offerings. The city’s signature at­tra­ction, Fre­de­ri­cia Rampart, is among Europe’s largest preserved fortres­ses and offers fa­sci­nat­ing city walks that bring the city’s military history to life. Go whale watching on the Little Belt or visit the Mads­by­par­ken park with the family – a free excursion spot with lots of fun and play. In the city centre a lively pe­de­stri­an street awaits with shopping options ranging from local spe­ci­a­li­ties to in­ter­na­tio­nal shops.

Snogebæk is located on the southern coast of Bornholm with beautiful Balka Beach and Dueodde as its closest neig­h­bours—some of the island’s best beaches. The town has plenty to offer, including a smo­ke­hou­se where you can sit down and enjoy a meal or buy fresh produce to bring home. You can also visit the cosy shops, which sell local arts and crafts and de­li­ca­cies, or take a stroll along in the harbour to see colourful fishing boats. If you would like to visit a larger town, head north to Nexø. Nexø offers cultural and hi­sto­ri­cal sights, galleries, local arts and crafts, and much more.

Spend your holiday home break in the tranqui­li­ty of the forest under the forest canopy in Ulvshale Skov. This lush, dense area is untouched, with only the paths cleared for hiking. This means that nature and wildlife are wild and secluded, so you might get lucky and see rare birds and other animals, or ex­pe­ri­en­ce wild orchids and specta­cu­lar coastal en­viron­ments close by. A stone’s throw away is Ulvshale Strand, one of Møn’s best beaches. The cosy little island of Nyord is just off the coast and is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit, while Møns Klint is not far.
